VIBE Barber College is here to provide educational training to interested people looking to start a career in the barber and beauty industry. We offer theory and practical training as outlined in the Tennessee barber examiner curriculum.
The school was started in 2003. Located in the heart of North Memphis it has been a great attribute to the community surrounding. The owner, Kendrick Jefferson, a Master Barber over 20 years had a vision to help others learn a hands on skill; which lead to VIBE Barber College. The years of experience has given him opportunity to produce jobs in the community and provide a service as well. It was his desire to dedicate his time to help interested individuals pursue a profession in the barber industry as well as to grow within themselves.
VIBE Barber College is accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences (NACCAS), approved by the Tennessee Higher Education Commission (THEC) and is licensed by the State of Tennessee Board of Barber Examiners.
